Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route links Toyama City in Toyama prefecture and Omachi City in Nagano prefecture. You can enjoy the dynamic nature of the northern Alps with the altitude of 3,000 meters and Kurobe canyon by using various means of transportation, such as trains, cable cars, Highland buses, trolleybuses, a ropeway, etc.
There are various strolls with plenty to see at each spot such as:

-Midagahara Plateau, which is a treasure-trove of alpine plants
